The Sawmill Café and Farm Shop is a privately owned establishment in the most beautiful valley of the lakes (we think), Wasdale.
Open throughout the year with the exception of January, we offer both breakfast and lunch in an idyllic setting.
We have a very friendly and communicative team and pride ourselves on being happy and upbeat even under pressure.
Skills & Knowledge
• Have good organisational skills and comfortable working under pressure when the establishment is full
• Follow and manage all HACCAP procedures with the kitchen management team.
• Run an organised efficient clean section.
• Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
• Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, presentation standards.
• Support other team members across the kitchen.
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Committed and hungry to progress and grow your skills
We are looking for someone who has passion and energy to further their kitchen experience and become a part of the creative hub of the team.
Attention to detail is a must, with the ability to work in a calm and professional manner whilst running your kitchen section.
