Strong sous chef required for a bust establishment near Inverness

I am looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to take over the Sous Chef role in this friendly kitchen.

The candidate needs to have the skills and personality to help lead and mentor the team, as well as developing the menu and preparing and cooking quality fresh food in a busy environment whilst maintaining a high standard of food hygiene.

Fresh food cooked from scratch using local ingredients where possible. The menu has a range of pub classics as well as a mix of modern Scottish dishes.

I am looking for candidates with the following skills:

  • Previous experience as a sous chef, or as CdP looking for the next step up.
  • A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of cooking and preparation.
  • Excellent personal presentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team

Accommodation is available offsite until the end of October, then help with re-locating can be offered if the candidate would like to stay on.  Driver essential due to accommodation being offsite.
