We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a prominent, high-profile seafood restaurant located by the coast. Renowned for fresh, locally sourced seafood and refined coastal cuisine, our restaurant offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary leader to make their mark.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of the kitchen, deliver outstanding food quality while leading and inspiring a professional brigade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute seasonal seafood-focused menus
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
  • Manage food costs, stock control, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and management to deliver exceptional guest experiences

About You

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a seafood or high-end restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of fresh seafood preparation and coastal cuisine
  • Creative, organised, and calm under pressure
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for local, sustainable produce
